Project Manager, full- or part-time (m/f/d)
We are looking for a detail-oriented, communicative, and proactive Project Manager to join our growing research institute. If you are passionate about keeping large projects organized, solving problems, and building long-term relationships with team members and industry and scientific partners, this could be the perfect role for you.
What You’ll Do
- You will support the BI research groups in the management of research projects from the idea to the completion; this also means that you will be in charge of project control, monitoring and reporting.
- You will coordinate external project partners; in particular, this means you will establish and maintain relationships with funding agencies and national and international partners (also from industry).
- You will support our scientists in administrative and organizational issues related to the projects.
Who You Are
- You have successfully completed a degree, preferably (but not necessarily) in engineering.
- You enjoy managing projects and you have the ability to keep different balls in the air.
- Our team is international: strong knowledge of English will help in internal and external communication.
- Good German skills will help with administrative tasks.
- You work independently and take responsibility for the successful completion of projects.
- It can be helpful if you have already had experience in project management in a scientific context, e.g. at a university or non-university research institution – but it is not a must.
